Photos: It’s Just Me
Dan/The Theologian recently blogged about creeping around and peeking at Xangan’s photos. Hey, people are curious, they want to know what you look like. Not everyone on here is looking for material to masturbate to. There is plenty of that here, if that’s what you’re looking for, but nine times out of ten they are just looking for curiosity’s sake.I have hesitated in the past to post photos of myself. There were a few different reasons for that…1) I was fat for a while and embarrassed. 2) I don’t really like photos of me usually. 3) I didn’t post them during my first few years here because my husband at the time (not the man I am currently married to) would have thought I was wanting attention from other men.
Well, I’ve lost weight, I don’t plan on posting any unflattering pics of myself, and my husband (the one I am currently married to) knows I adore him…so, I thought I’d post some photos of me, if you’re curious.
The ones at the top are most recent, and all the photos are in descending order time-wise (oldest at the bottom).Do you post photos of yourself on Xanga?

You are lovely. I have posted about 3 profile pictures. And 2 others. I might have taken one down, I am not photogenic. My family has to put up a huge fight with me to get me to participate in family photographs.

I rarely post photos of myself but every year or two I do.
@Paul_Partisan - Thank you. I am the same way. I am not photogenic. The camera does not love me. I have very few photos of myself because I don’t usually like my photo to be taken…because I know how it will turn out.

@TheTheologiansCafe - I’ve seen a photo of you, but I think that was through Yahoo Messenger or AIM or something.
Not as many as you remembering me posting in the past. Some perv took some of my sexier pictures and put them on his site next to some of his favorite porn. And of course he had his lowlife atheist friends join in trying to embarrass me. He would not take them down when asked nicely, not even when I asked (warned) him not so nicely. And xanga was not going to do anything until I ran a bunch notarized affidavits to them. And it was Friday late afternoon. I had them ready to go Monday morning but . . .
What an idiot, he found out I had some friends in high and low places. His site was given an ex rating for about 2 weeks. And yeah he “willingly” changed his mind about having my pictures on his site.
Anyway an opinionated girl such as me can not give the Cretans to much too work with.
Yes, I do. I’ve never really seen the point of ‘hiding’. Though I play by the same rules; unflattering pictures are promptly deleted! LOL I’ve managed a few really good photos, but for every one good one, 20 have hit the ‘recycle bin’.
@trunthepaige - That’s true. If you put yourself in the line of fire, don’t supply the enemy with ammunition!
@filtered_sunlight@momaroo - My ratio of bad to good photos seems a bit higher, probably 30:1. I look better in real life than in photos. It’s just that simple.

Yep. This is my picture (I’m the little one.) I think I’ve explained before that the pic was taken during a full moon.
What a handsome couple and you are one very lovely lady. Thin or fat, I still like to see who my readers are and I assure you, I’m not looking to masturbate to any of the pictures I see.
I’m not happy with my weight, but over the years, I have gotten braver about posting pictures of myself. Actually, when I started dating Guy a couple of years ago (we aren’t dating anymore) is when I started getting brave about posting pictures of myself. I’ll never be a raving beauty, but at least people can see who they’re “talking” to.

@ShadesOfAnnie - I think it would be safe to say that most of the people who scope out photos for self-gratification purposes are guys. Not always, just mostly. There are “adult oriented” Xanga blogs. And then there are some that just skirt the edge.
I like to have a face to put with a name. It is nice to get to know many of the people here. I’ve even met a few!
